Assessment of groundwater quality using statistical methods: a case study

Abstract Human activities substantially contribute to the rise of various contaminating ionic levels in water, which translates a risk humans, flora, and fauna. Assessment groundwater quality is very important estimate contaminants take preventive measures predict future disasters. The statistical method effective combining this estimation with other tools. As case study, Aurangabad city India was chosen 55 samples were collected from dugwells borewells according domestic location inhabitants industries. study aims create graphs that expose human-related health risks posed by considered contaminants. All analyzed trace amount considerable range pollutants; consequently, assessment for carcinogenic non-carcinogenic carried out. A water suitability irrigation drinking purposes found studied samples, nitrate present as major pollutant among others.
